Wow, I went to a monster farm auction recently in Earlville Ilinois - there were 5 hayracks alone of stuff from the barn (as usual just me and the boys, with all the iron, dust and wood)! We also went to an estate sale in Yorkville - lots of old eclectic items, these folks were collectors of anything Civil War, Native American, and eclectic.

This vintage candle holder is beautiful. It holds 5 pillar candles. It stands 21 inches tall and is over 16 inches wide. One of the trays under the pillar holder is slightly bent as pictured (the one on the left in the picture), but it is hardly noticeable.

An unusual and highly decorative ” Hatpins ” box made from solid English Oak and mounted by solid or sterling silver mounts. Both the all-round mount and the the ” Hatpins” have matching hallmarks for the highly collectible Chester assay office and for the year 1904 together with the makers mark Jd over Wd for James Deakin / John and William Deakin.
